Coupons

Coupons is a
Committee where the money collected can be used for any Department Program,
that is in need of financial help. With our membership we can support this
worth while fund raiser to benefit the Department.
Unit Coupon Chairmen:
It is your responsibility to contact each unit member and make them aware
that they are to contribute 60 coupons per member. Send the Unit coupons
collected to your County Coupon Chairman in time for her to mail them to me,
At least once a month. If your Unit prefers to forward money in lieu of
coupons, the quota can be determined by: multiplying your Unit membership
goal by 60 coupons per member and dividing by 1,200, then multiplying the
answer by $3.00; (membership goal 100 x 60 = 6,000 divided by 1,200 = 5x
$3.00 equals $15.00). Please send check to your County Treasurer, who in
turn will forward a check to Department Office. Please remember to report
your activity to me.
County Coupon Chairmen:
Please send me a list of quotas assigned to each Unit in your County. This
can be obtained from your County Membership Chairman. Coupons quotas are
based on 60 coupons per member. Keep a record of all coupons, stamps and
money you receive. This is important in determining awards.
Hints:
Check with your former County Coupon Chairman. Approach those Units that did
not give with a note or a phone call. Maybe they do not realize how little
it takes to meet our goal ($.15 or 60 coupons per member). We can make our
goal.
Important:
No checks or coupons will be credited for 2007-2008 after May10, 2008.
Anything received after this da te will be
credited in the next administration.
Unit Chairmen:
Please send
Report Form
to
reach
your County Chairman by November
1, 2007, March 1, 2008 and May 1, 2008.
County Chairmen:

reach
the Dept. Chairman by

REPORTING
One of the most important responsibilities
of
Unit Committee Chairmen
is to report the activities and work
on their programs.
This comprises all of the work
done by the more than 53,000 members in our Department.
The Unit Chairmen report to the
County Chairmen who in turn
report to the Department Chairmen.
The Department's report to National
is the factor that makes the outstanding reports at the National
Convention.
Chairmen are encouraged to
enter all contests. |
