WFA BULLETIN DECEMBER 2022
At the Department Executive Meeting held on December 3, 2022 it was approved to expand the eligibility requirement for the Warriors Family Assistance (WFA) Program. Effective immediately, the requirement to be honorably discharged within the past ten years has been removed. The WFA Program is now open to any veteran that has served honorably, or is currently serving, and is a resident of New York State.
Brochures and applications currently in circulation should be changed to reflect the new eligibility until new ones can be procured. If you have any questions, please contact WFA Chair, at nyalawfa@gmail.com.
