Good Morning Everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that Carroll Goerke's husband is home and doing well.  He is going through rehab and they expect him to have a full recovery.  (He had several strokes)

Update on Eighth District Vice President Kathy Toni's husbands heart attack. On Wed. Dec 23rd, Jim underwent triple bypass surgery at Buffalo General. The operation went well and he is going to be ok. It will be a long haul to recovery but we will take it a day at a time. Although we will not have him at home this Christmas we should have him here for many more to come.

Meaning of Yellow Rose
 

Primary Significance: Friendship, Joy, Get Well

A bouquet of yellow roses brings to mind all of the sunny, cheerful feelings of warmth and happiness. In contrast to the romantic meanings attributed to other roses, the yellow rose is purely a symbol for friendship. This gives it a unique place in the pantheon of roses. Yellow roses can send the perfect message of appreciation and platonic love without the romantic   subtext of other colors. They can represent feelings of joy and delight, and are an ideal way to brighten someone's day who may be feeling down. There is perhaps no other flower that is able to bring out a smile in quite the way that a yellow rose can.
