Update about Patricia Dyer  February 14, 2012

I received an update about Pat Dyer from her husband Bob today!!

Pat was taken to the OR suite about 6:20. am yesterday morning (2/13/12) and operated on about 9 a.m. Bob spoke with the surgeon about 3 p.m.  She had a 5 way by-pass, not the double he expected. Dr. said recovery time about the same for either. He was able to see her at 4 p.m. She was not awake and not expected to wake for at least 4 more hours,
She will be in CVIC (Cardio-Vascular Intensive Care) for about 2 days. Only 2 visitors at a time for 5 or 10 minutes each hour.  After that she will go to Progressive Care.

Bob sends a "Thank You" to all for your cards, flowers, gifts, e-mails and especially for your prayers...Let's keep the prayers coming for a speedy recovery....

Meaning of Yellow Rose
Primary Significance: Friendship, Joy, Get Well

A bouquet of yellow roses brings to mind all of the sunny, cheerful feelings of warmth and happiness. In contrast to the romantic meanings attributed to other roses, the yellow rose is purely a symbol for friendship. This gives it a unique place in the pantheon of roses. Yellow roses can send the perfect message of appreciation and platonic love without the romantic  subtext of other colors. They can represent feelings of joy and delight, and are an ideal way to brighten someone's day who may be feeling down. There is perhaps no other flower that is able to bring out a smile in quite the way that a yellow rose can.
