Warriors Family
Assistance
– To the unit that best promotes the Warrior’s Family Assistance program
in its community. Entry must be in narrative form not to exceed 1,000
words. Entry should include news articles, text of TV coverage and PSA’s.
Photos may be included.
Junior Activities –
To the unit that activates a Junior Program. The unit must have at least
five (5) Junior members documented by the Department Membership Clerk.
Entry must be in narrative form not to exceed 1,000 words. At least 3
photos of the Junior activities of the program must be included.
Narrative should describe efforts at activation and activities carried out
Two awards for Junior Activities: Unit with less than 100 members and the
unit with more than 100 members.
Education –To
the unit that conducts the best program during American Education Week.
Entry must be in narrative form, not to exceed 1,000 words. Photos and
news articles are encouraged.
Two awards for Education: Unit with less than 100 members and the unit
with more than 100 members.
Public Relations -
Award to the unit that best publicizes a project or program of the
American Legion Auxiliary
at the local level. Must include publicity, photos, copies of articles
etc. Not to exceed 1,000 words

unit with more than 100 members.
President’s
Project –
Award to the unit that best supports and publicizes
the need for organ donors. Entry must be in narrative form, not to exceed
1,000 words. Photos and news articles are encouraged.
