FIELD SERVICE

Awarded to the Unit that performs outstanding service to the Veterans in their Community. Entries shall be in narrative form, not longer than 2 pages and may include photos and copies of newspaper articles. Deadline is May 10, 2011.

POPPY PROGRAM

Awarded to the Unit or County that performs exceptional promotion of the Poppy Program. Include community education and awareness of our program and what the Poppy stands for. Entries may include a narrative, no longer than 2 pages, and can include photos and newspaper articles if used. Deadline is May 10, 2011

YOUTH HERO AWARD

See the application in the Plans of Action, but send entry to Department President as well as to the Department Secretary as asked in the application. Must be sent to Department President no later than May 10, 2011

DEPARTMENT PRESIDENT'S PROJECT

To the Unit with 10-100 members making the largest donation to the, "Hats off to Homeless Veterans", Department Presidents Project.

To the County with 101 and above members making the largest donation to the, "Hats off to Homeless Veterans", Department Presidents Project.

Entries for the above must include a Cover sheet giving the Unit number and name, or name of the County Chairman, her address, paid membership, the District number and the amount given to this project.
